On December 19, 2025, the Agricultural Research Development Agency (Public Organization) (ARDA), organized the “ARDA Mini Press” event at Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University. The event aimed to showcase successful research projects funded by ARDA that contribute to the country’s society and economy, highlighting the collaboration between Mahidol University and ARDA, while providing an opportunity for the media to interact directly with researchers.

On this occasion, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), attended the event.

At the event, Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean’s Advisor and Former Dean of DTMU, as the Lead Researcher, presented her research on “The Efficacy of Topical Cannabidiol (CBD) for Orofacial Pain Relief.”

This research marks a significant milestone in dentistry, focusing on developing alternative treatments for orofacial pain. By harnessing the potential of CBD extract for clinical application, this innovation aims to concretely improve the quality of life for patients suffering from these conditions in the future.
