From October 27-29, 2025, the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Program at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), underwent its 478th AUN-QA Programme Assessment (Re-assessment).

The faculty, led by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU and Associate Professor Dr. Somsak Mitrirattanakul, Deputy Dean for Undergraduate Education, welcomed the distinguished AUN-QA assessment team. The assessors included Associate Professor Dr. Tan Kay Chuan (National University of Singapore, Chief Quality Officer, AUN-QA Technical Team) and Dr. Maria Resurreccion P. Alejo (Head of Quality Management and Accreditation, Ateneo de Manila University).

Over the three-day site visit, the assessors met with key stakeholders, including program directors, the curriculum committee, faculty members, employers, current students, alumni, and supporting staff. The intensive process involved interviews, document reviews, and concluded with the assessors presenting their preliminary findings and recommendations.

The assessment was organized by the Dental Education Unit, Educational and Academic Office, and held at the Faculty Committee’s meeting room on the 17th floor of the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
