From September 9-12, 2025, a delegation of executives from Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), attended the FDI World Dental Congress 2025, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, China. The theme of this year’s congress was “Shaping the Future of Oral Health.”

The DTMU delegation was led by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, the Dean, including Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean’s Advisor; Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication; Associate Professor Dr. Peerapong Santiwong, Head of the Department of Orthodontics; and Assistant Professor Yutthasak Kriangcherdsak, Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

The congress gathered over 100 international experts for academic lectures and workshops on diverse topics, from implantology and esthetic dentistry to the application of robotic technology. The faculty’s participation was a significant opportunity to enhance academic capabilities and expand its network of international collaborations.
