On May 5, 2026, H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Mobile Dental Service Center, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), in collaboration with the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, organized a mobile dental clinic. This initiative aimed to provide essential oral healthcare services to the community at the Baan Phra Phon Foundation in Huai Khwang, Bangkok.

The mission was honored by the presence of Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Advisor to the Dean; Assistant Professor Komsun Lapauthaya, Assistant Dean for Special Projects; and Assistant Professor Yutthasak Kriangcherdsak, Head of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. They led a dedicated team of faculty members, specialized dentists, postgraduate students, and medical personnel to provide comprehensive dental care for the children, youth, and staff under the foundation’s care.

The wide range of services offered included dental fillings, scaling, extractions, wisdom tooth surgeries, dental X-rays, fluoride applications, and dental sealants. The team also provided essential education on proper daily oral hygiene.

This activity not only alleviated dental discomfort but also fulfilled the royal aspiration of expanding access to standard public healthcare services. The initiative is a profound step toward sustainably elevating the quality of life and bringing bright smiles to the society.
