On December 26, 2025, Faculty of Dentistry (DTMU), in collaboration with the Faculty of Tropical Medicine and the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University, organized a Buddhist chanting and merit-making ceremony. The event involved offering alms of rice and dried food to 18 monks from Wat Tako, Phachi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, to welcome the New Year 2026 with auspicious blessings.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of the Deans from all three faculties, who led the executives, faculty members, staff, and students in the merit-making activities:
The event took place at Maegrath Conference Hall, 8th floor, the 60th Anniversary Building, Faculty of Tropical Medicine. This joint gathering served as a wonderful opportunity for the Mahidol community to preserve Thai traditions and strengthen unity as we step into the New Year together.
