On November 4, 2025, the Department of Advanced General Dentistry, together with the Department of Community Dentistry, and the Center for Continuing Education and Academic Affairs, Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University (DTMU), organized an academic lecture on “Dysphagia in Geriatric Dental Patients.” The event was held at Meeting Room A1, 7^th floor, 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, and was officially opened by Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean of DTMU.

The lecture was organized to promote knowledge and facilitate the exchange of academic experiences regarding the management of dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) in elderly patients.

The faculty was honored to welcome a panel of distinguished speakers:

• Prof. Haruka Tohara (Department of Dysphagia Rehabilitation, Institute of Science Tokyo, Japan)
• Lecturer Dr. Sirinthip Amornsuradech (Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University)
• Assistant Professor Dr. Ariya Chantaramanee (Faculty of Dentistry, Naresuan University)

The lecture was well-attended by faculty members, dentists, and participants from various organizations, successfully enhancing knowledge and awareness for improving the quality of life for geriatric patients.
