On October 27, 2025, Mahidol University (MU) held a solemn ceremony of condolence and remembrance for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, who passed away on October 24, 2025.
Associate Professor Dr. Sittiwat Lertsiri, Vice President of Mahidol University, presided over the ceremony. He led university executives, faculty members, and staff in signing the condolence book and laying garlands and wreaths before Her Majesty’s royal portrait at the Office of the President.
Representing the Faculty of Dentistry, Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Dean, and Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication, attended the ceremony.
The ceremony concluded with the presiding officer leading all attendees in a one-minute silence, expressing their profound loyalty and gratitude for Her Majesty’s immeasurable grace.
