High School Teachers and Students from Princess Sirindhorn’s College Visits Museums under Phaya Thai Area Museum Collaboration Project

On June 23, 2025, a group of 104 high school teachers and students from Princess Sirindhorn’s College visited the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, as part of the Phaya Thai Area Museum Collaboration Project. The museum is recognized as the first and most modern dental museum in Asia.

The visit began with an introductory lecture on the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) program, delivered by the Head of the Undergraduate Education Administration Section. The group then visited the “DTMU Storytelling: Stories of DTMU You Might Never Know – From Wisdom Teeth to the Maxillofacial Region”, presented by the heads of the Anesthesiology Unit and the Surgery Unit.

Following this, the students observed DDS clinical training at the Simulation Lab and also visited the Dental Technician School to explore the two-year Certificate Program in Dental Technology.

The program concluded with a visit to the Stang Mongkolsuk Museum at the Faculty of Science, Mahidol University—also under the Phaya Thai Area Museum Collaboration. The group was welcomed by Dr. Tana Taechalertpaisarn, Assistant Dean for Information, and Mr. Apichai Arayacharoenchai, Head of Archives and Museum, Stang Mongkolsuk Library and Information Services Division. They provided the group with an engaging tour and insightful knowledge aimed at guiding students in their educational and career aspirations.
