On June 18, 2025, Associate Professor Dr. Rochaya Chintavalakorn, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of the training program titled “Pre-Litigation Mediation and Medical Dispute Resolution Training Program.” The training featured both theoretical and practical sessions, focusing on approaches to medical dispute mediation and techniques for conducting mediation sessions. A simulated role-play exercise on mediation and the drafting of settlement agreements was also conducted.

Distinguished guest speakers included:

• Lecturer Chotchuang Thapwong, former Senior Judge at the Court of Appeals, Region 7, and a mediation expert in civil disputes under the Lawyers Council of Thailand under the Royal Patronage
• Lecturer Nakorn Wallipakorn, lecturer at the Pridi Banomyong Faculty of Law, Dhurakij Pundit University, specializing in mediation training under the Dispute Mediation Act B.E. 2562 (2019)
• Orasa Narainakamin, Secretary of the Center for Peace in Health Care
• Prakit Photiart, Head of the Health Insurance Division and lead instructor on basic concepts of conflict management in the public health system

Participants in the training included faculty executives, faculty committee members, assistant deans, department and unit heads, clinical directors, hospital and faculty staff. The event took place at the Debaratana Auditorium on the 4^th floor on the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building. Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University, and was organized by the Legal Unit.
