The Mahidol International Dental School’s DDS International Program consists of 6 years of study. The first year is taken at Mahidol University International College or MUIC while the rest of the remaining five years are taken at the Phayathai Campus.
Given the proximity of the Salaya campus to the greater Bangkok metropolitan area, many students prefer to commute. Others, however, have chosen to live either on or close to the campus, a decision which the college strongly supports because it enables students to participate in extra-curricular activities and enjoy the full benefits of university life.
Mahidol University and MUIC provides a number of on and off-campus housing accommodations:
Green Park Home Village
Green Park Home Village, which is managed by MUIC, is a comfortable three-storey complex, consisting of 39 rooms (singles and shared) with shared bathroom facilities. The rooms are fully furnished and include air conditioning. Students have access to a lounge and kitchen area, the Internet, cable TV as well as laundry and cleaning services.
While priority is given to exchange and visiting students, regular students can rent as well. The rent for Thai nationals is 5,300-5,500 Baht per month for singles and 2,550 Baht per month/person for shared, excluding electricity and water. A short-term stay is 300 Baht/day. For international students, the rent is 6,300-6,500 Baht per month for singles and 3,050 Baht per month/person for shared, excluding electricity and water.
Chaiyapruk Village
Chaiyapruk Village, also managed by MUIC, is a modern and luxurious accommodation consisting of 15 rooms (singles and shared). The rooms are fully furnished, each with an air conditioning unit and a bathroom. Tenants have spacious public areas such as a living room with cable TV, study room, kitchen and laundry room as well as Internet connection and cleaning service.
While priority is given to exchange and visiting students, interested regular students are also welcome. The rent for Thai nationals is 6,500 – 11,000 Baht per month for singles and 4,600-5,250 Baht per month/person for shared, excluding electricity and water. A short-term stay is 500 Baht/day. For international students, the rent is 7,500 – 12,000 Baht per month for singles and 5,100 – 5,750 Baht per month/person for shared, excluding electricity and water.
Condominiums
Three 14-storey condominiums are located near the back gate of the Salaya campus. The units consist of three types, one person, two people and four people, with rents at 5,000, 7,000 and 10,000 Baht per month, respectively, not including electricity and water. Each unit has a living room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and air conditioning and includes a television set, beds, refrigerators, telephone and other furnishings.

University Dormitories
Mahidol University provides low-cost dormitories for students who may have financial difficulties. Although preference is usually given to other MU faculties, MUIC students can apply as well.
There are three men’s and four women’s dormitories, located near the Central Facilities of the Salaya campus. Each room can accommodate four people at a cost of 3,600-9,250 Baht per person per semester. MU semesters run from June to October and November to March. The dormitories are closed during the university’s summer break.
Interested students can fill out an application form at the University Dormitory Office (Baan Sritrang) at 02-441-9725 or contact the MUIC Office of Student Affairs.
