From November 4-7, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Tippanart Vichayanrat, Deputy Dean for International Relations and Organizational Communication at Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, represented the faculty at the follow-up program for the “Training Program in Technology of Medicine and Public Health for Health Personnel from Lao PDR, Initiated by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.”

The program was attended by Dr. Tippanart along with representatives from the Office of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Projects, Mahidol University, and the Praboromarajchanok Institute.

Held in Luang Prabang Province, Lao PDR, the program involved a comprehensive schedule, including a briefing on Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital’s background and a tour to observe its operations.

The delegation also conducted follow-up visits to evaluate the progress of Lao medical and public health personnel’s work at four local health institutions: Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital, Luang Prabang Provincial Public Health Office, College of Health Sciences, Luang Prabang, and the Hospital of Nam Bak District, Luang Prabang Subdistrict.

Additionally, they met with alumni of the training program who are currently working in hospitals throughout Luang Prabang Province.
