On August 7, 2024, Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT), along with Associate Professor Dr. Somsak Mitrirattanakul, Deputy Dean for International Undergraduate Programs and Network Collaboration, and Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Chair of the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program (International Program), represented MUDT to receive the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance) certification at the award ceremony at Prince Mahidol Hall, Mahidol University.

This certification reflects the academic quality assurance of the Doctor of Dental Surgery (International Program) under AUN-QA standards. The program underwent the 373^rd AUN-QA assessment from January 29–31, 2024, at the Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University. The program received an assessment result with a score of 6 at the Example of Best Practices level, which reinforces the quality of the curriculum at the international level.
