On August 5, 2024, the School of Dental Technology hosted the orientation for Dental Technician Students for the academic year 2024. The event commenced with Associate Professor Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Deputy Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry and Chair of the Executive Committee of the program, delivering an overview of the orientation process for the year.

Subsequently, Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, delivered the inaugural address, aiming to inspire and motivate the new dental technician students. Following the opening session, the program lecturers were introduced, the new students had the chance to introduce themselves, and essential information was shared with the new students by Mrs. Runda Dumsim, Chief of the School of Dental Technology.

In this regard, Ms. Krittika Saiso, Deputy Director of Services Support at the Dental Hospital, provided crucial details about the Health Care Service Unit and emergency procedures. Associate Professor Dr. Pisol Senawongse, Deputy Dean for Research, Facilities, and Environment, also provided guidelines concerning safety measures and environmental considerations. Lecturer Panida Phawilai, Ms. Ruethairat Bungnak, and Ms. Sirinan Taveechokkul introduced the advisory system, dress code, and other regulations.

The orientation took place in Meeting Room 301 on the third floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building. In the afternoon, students had the opportunity to visit the Sirindhorn Dental Museum.

Additionally, Ms. Yupawadee Chaekulchat, Computer Technical Officer, introduced the Education Management System (DTEDU). The orientation concluded with a tour of the School of Dental Technician Laboratory led by second-year dental assistant students.
