On July 15, 2024, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT) held an orientation for new postgraduate students for the academic year 2024. The event was presided over by Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of MUDT, to deliver welcoming remarks.

During the orientation, MUDT executives presented important information on several topics as follows:

Morning session:

• Study guidelines for postgraduate students by Clinical Professor Dr. Siriruk Nakornchai, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Postgraduate Education
• Introduction of the Central Research Laboratory by Associate Professor Dr. Pisol Senawongse, Deputy Dean for Research, Facilities and Environment
• Introduction to the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital by Lecturer Pariya Kaewpradub, Director of Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital
• Introduction to the biopsy submission system by Professor Dr. Sopee Poomsawat, Head of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology
• Introduction to Mobile Dental Service Center under the Royal Initiative of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn by Assistant Professor Komsun Lapauthaya, Assistant Dean for Special Projects

This also included the introduction of the Mahidol University Library and Knowledge Center by the Head of Rajavithi Campus Library. Basic Fire Fighting & Prevention Training was also conducted for the Afternoon session for the students.

The event took place at Debaratana Auditorium on the fourth floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, organized by Postgraduate Educational Administration Division.
