MUDT Receives “World Oral Health Day 2024” Award

On July 14, 2024, Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, received the award for “Outstanding Partner Activities” in the category of Most Popular Hashtag for organizing World Oral Health Day Thailand 2024.

The award was presented by Dr. Adirek Sriwatanawongsa, President of the Dental Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. The event took place in the meeting room at the Dental Association of Thailand.

World Oral Health Day aims to raise awareness of the importance of oral health among both the public and policymakers through active participation in activities, as well as contribute to dental organizations conducting effective social campaigns.

This year, the Faculty of Dentistry at Mahidol University co-organized the World Oral Health Day 2024 campaign, following the slogan: “Avoid Sticky Foods and Sweets, Brush Often, Get Regular Checkups – Lifelong Healthy Habits! #WOHDTH2024MUDENT”
