On July 5, 2024, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT), received the First Runner-Up prize in the Management Innovation category at the Bangkok GREEN & CLEAN Hospital Plus (BKKGC+) Innovation Contest 2023, organized by Metropolitan Health and Wellness Institution. The winning project, titled “Recycled Waste Management to Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions Sustainably,” showcased innovative strategies for managing waste and reducing environmental impact.
In this regard, Mr. Wittaya Lamthong, Head of the Physical and Environmental Section, represented MUDT at the award ceremony. The event was graced by Dr. Attapol Kaewsamrit, Deputy Director General of the Health Department, who presented the award. The ceremony was held during the 2023 Bangkok GREEN & CLEAN Hospital Plus (BKKGC+) Environmental Health Management Workshop at the Bazaar Hotel Bangkok, Chatuchak District, Bangkok.
