On February 5, 2024, Mr. Chatchai Usaha, Vice Governor of Narathiwat Province, led the opening ceremony of “Good Health under the Royal Patronage.”

This significant event saw the participation of distinguished guests including Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Montha Laohasrisakul, Deputy Director of Special Projects and International Relations, and Dr. Pensinee Wipatkrut, Deputy Director of Administrative Affairs from Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital. Esteemed members of the executive committee of the Thai Red Cross Children Home, the President of the Red Cross Association from various provinces, committee members of McHappy Family Foundation, and representatives from governmental sectors were also present at the event.

During the ceremony at Mattayom Sungaipadi School, Su-ngai Padi District, Narathiwat Province, M.R. Chiyakorn Apakorn Sesavej, an executive committee member and project executive of Thai Red Cross Children Home, presented tokens of appreciation to the attendees and facilitated a group photo.

The “Good Health under the Royal Patronage” initiative, a collaborative effort between the private sector, McHappy Family Foundation, governmental bodies, Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital (Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University), provincial governors, and the President of Red Cross Association across various provinces, aims to provide mobile dental treatment to children facing financial constraints and limited access to government-sponsored healthcare services.

From February 5-8, 2024, this project provided dental care to 800 students at the Mattayom Sungaipadi School, Su-ngai Padi District, Narathiwat Province.
