On May 24, 2024, a total of 42 teachers and students from Kanchananukroh School, Kanchanaburi province visited the Sirindhorn Dental Museum at Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, Asia’s first dental learning museum. The trip included various educational activities, starting with an introduction to admission guidelines provided by the Head of the Undergraduate Educational Administration Section.
Students also explored the Discovery Museum of Tropical Diseases at the Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University. This collaborative effort between the Faculty of Dentistry and the Faculty of Tropical Medicine aimed to foster a student-centered learning environment. Additionally, the group visited the Dental Simulation Center to learn about the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program.
In this regard, Associate Professor Dr. Jira Kitisubkanchana, Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology Department, provided insights into the exhibition “DTMU Story Telling: Something You May Never Know” on the topic of Dental Diagnostic Radiology. Furthermore, a Scientist (Expert Level) from the Research Applied Section shared information about research and innovation at Mahidol University the Faculty of Dentistry with the visitors.
