Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry had the pleasure of hosting teachers and high school students, 45 of them in total, from Suankularb Wittayalai School. They visited the Sirindhorn Dental Museum, recognized as Asia’s first dental learning museum where visitors can advance their self-learning and broaden their knowledge and experiences in dentistry via interactive digital media.
During their visit, the students had the opportunity to observe teaching and learning sessions of the Doctor of Dental Surgery Program at the Dental Simulation Center. They also learned about the Certificate Program in Dental Technician (two-year program) at the School of Dental Technology. This would hopefully inspire these students and ignite their interest in potential future careers in the field of dentistry.
To further enhance this educational visit, Assistant Professor Komsun Lapauthaya, the Deputy Head of the Department of Community Dentistry, actively engaged with the students and shared interesting knowledge through an exhibition titled “DTMU Storytelling (CONNECT: Bridging Dentists and the Community).”
