On March 12, 2024, Professor Banchong Mahaisavariya, President of Mahidol University, together with Professor Hong-Chen Chen, Vice President of National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), and Ms. Hsiu-Mei Hsueh, Deputy Representative of the Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Thailand, presided over the unveiling ceremony of the Taiwan – Thailand Overseas Science Research and Technology Innovation Center (TTSTC).

The center is now located at the MU-NCKU Joint Research Center on the first floor of the 50ᵗʰ Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building at Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry.

During the event, Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean’s Advisor of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry and Director of NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand, along with Professor Fong-Chin Su, Executive Director of TTSTC, delivered speeches highlighting the establishment of TTSTC.

Notable attendees included Clinical Professor Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, the Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, as well as deans from various faculties at Mahidol University, the Director of the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management (INT), and executives from NCKU.
