The VNU Dental & Exhibition Congress, organized by Vietnam National University Faculty of Dentistry, took place on December 14-15, 2023, with the theme “Dentistry Connection,” aiming to foster connections among dentist communities in Vietnam and the Asian region. Clin. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, attended the congress and was warmly welcomed by Prof. Trịnh Đình Hải, Dean of VNU Faculty of Dentistry, and Dr. Trong Hieu DO, from the Endodontology Department.

During the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jeeraphat Jantarat, Head of the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, delivered a lecture on “Regenerative Endodontic Procedures: Clinical Challenges,” while Assoc. Prof. Suphachai Suphangul, from the Department of Advanced General Dentistry, presented a lecture on “How to Deal with Implant Complications: Another Side of Implant Treatment.”

It is noteworthy that VNU Faculty of Dentistry has been acknowledged as the latest member institution of the International Dental Collaboration of the Mekong River Region (IDCMR). Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry played a significant role as the founding member of IDCMR and continues to serve as the IDCMR Secretariat Office since its establishment in 2004.
