On September 29, 2023, Asst. Prof. Surakit Visuttiwattanakorn, the Dental Hospital’s Director, represented the Sirindhorn Dental Museum to receive the “Thai Museum Praise 2023 Outstanding Award”, for being a model of sustainable development “Museum and Learning Center & SDGs17”. The award was presented by Mrs. Yuthika Isarangkura, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Culture.

The award ceremony took place in the Meeting Room on the 7^th floor of the Federation of Saving and Credit Cooperatives of Thailand Limited Building in Nonthaburi Province. The event not only celebrated this significant recognition but also featured a lecture on “IT DIGITAL & SDGs for THAILAND MUSEUM,” highlighting the crucial role of digital technology in achieving sustainability goals in Thai museums.
