On August 7, 2023, the School of Dental Technology hosted the orientation for Dental Technician Students for the Academic Year 2023. The commencement of the event featured Ms. Runda Damsim, the Chief of the School of Dental Technology, delivering a verbal overview of this year’s orientation process. Subsequently, Asst. Prof. Bundhit Jirajariyavej, Deputy Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (MUDT), delivered an inaugural address, inspiring and motivating the new dental technician students in attendance.

Following the opening session, Ms. Krittika Saiso, the Deputy Director of Services Support at Dental Hospital, MUDT, provided students with essential information about the educational program, the Health Care Service Unit, and guidance regarding topics to the ongoing Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic. The Physical and Environmental Section also imparted advice concerning safety measures and environmental considerations.

After that, the advisory system, dress code, and other regulations were also introduced by Lect. Panida Phawilai, Ms. Ruethairat Bungnak, and Ms. Sirinan Taveechokkul, respectively.

The morning session was conducted in Meeting room 301 on the third floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.

In the afternoon, the new students had the opportunity to visit the Sirindhorn Dental Museum. Additionally, Ms. Yupawadee Chaekulchat introduced the Education Management System (DTEDU), and the orientation concluded with an introduction to the School Dental Technician Laboratory.
