On October 4, 2023, Clin. Prof. Dr. Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, presided over the “DT Zero Waste” exhibition which was organized by the Physical and Environmental Section of the faculty.

Kicking off the exhibition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pisol Senawongse, Deputy Dean for Research, Facilities and Environment, provided a comprehensive overview of the event’s purpose. The exhibition aimed to educate and inform lecturers, students, and staff about waste reduction strategies, waste separation, raising environmental awareness, promoting responsible waste management, encouraging recycling, and highlighting proper waste disposal methods.

Following the opening session, Dean Sirichai Kiattavorncharoen presented the ESPReL awards to deserving laboratories and certificates to units that excelled in 5S activities in 2023.

The event also featured engaging activities, including a quiz game with exciting prizes and informative booths dedicated to environmental preservation and energy conservation. These booths offered eco-friendly products under the theme “Green Market”, taking place at the multipurpose area on the first floor of the 50^th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building.
