Auspicious Event on the Occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra’s Birthday
and the National Dental Public Health Day

 

On October 20, 2021, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry organized the auspicious event to pay tribute to the royal family on the occasion of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra’s birthday and the National Dental Public Health Day by providing free dental services to the general public (1 person/1 treatment) which included tooth fillings, tooth extraction, impacted tooth removal, scaling, emergency root canal treatment, pediatric dental treatments, and dental radiograph. The services were provided at the Dental Hospital, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry (Phayathai Campus) for 260 adults and 40 children, and at the Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital (Salaya Campus) for 200 adults and 30 children.

 

Activities in the event included the ceremony of paying respect to the royal portrait of Her Royal Highness Princess Srinagarindra, the opening ceremony of free dental services.

 

Regarding COVID-19 preventive measures for both dental hospitals, the Dental hospital, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry provides screening via Rapid Antigen Test Kit (ATK) for patients before receiving dental services. The Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Dental Hospital also provides online pre-registration for patients and make sure that its dentists and staff follow COVID-19 preventive guidelines of the Dental Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage for safety of both patients and medical personnel.
