MU’s Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Development Gives Trees to 5 Sections in Phaya Thai Campus
in Tree Distribution Ceremony according to Initiative of “Plantation on Greenhouse Gas Absorption (2nd Year)” Campaign


On September 17, 2020, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, along with other faculty Deans and their accompanying staff represented 5 sections in Phaya Thai Campus; Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Faculty of Public Health, Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Science to host a reception with warm welcome and greeting for Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit, Vice President for Environment and Sustainable Development of Mahidol University in Tree Distribution Ceremony held in accordance with a campaign “Plantation on Greenhouse Gas Absorption (2nd Year)”. The campaign was launched and currently led by Physical and Environment Section, Office of President, Mahidol University with aims of spreading more green spaces in all sections of Mahidol University in assistance to absorbing greenhouse gas, a main impetus for global warming and health-risk air pollution, and to improving quality of life of students and staff in the Phaya Thai campus.
After the welcome meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kitikorn Charmondusit as a chairperson delivered opening remarks in the ceremony, passed the trees and campaign’s souvenirs to those 5 sections and took part in the group photo shoot to conclude the ceremony held at a 301 room, 3rd floor, the 50th Anniversary of H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, MUDT.
