Signing of Tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
Concerning International Special Needs Oral Care Medical Service Network

 

On October 24, 2019, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb (Dean of Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry – MUFD ) together with Prof. Chuan-Hang Yu (Director of Special Needs Stomatology, Chung Shan Medical University Hospital), Dr. Mathurada Suwannapho (Director of Rajanukul Institute), Dr. Kulaya Ratanapridakul (Director of WeCare Dental Clinic) unanimously signed the tripartite MoU as collectively activated. Assoc. Prof. Pisol Senawongse (Deputy Dean for Physical Environment and International Relations) was an attesting witness to the MoU signing at Sirindhorn Dental Museum on the 1st floor of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn 50th Anniversary Building, MUFD.

 

Objectives of the MoU concerns the collaborative management of special need patient transfer along with the improvement of dental specialists and other dental personnel’s proficiency with a hope that patients with the special need can undergo the same standard of dental treatments as efficient as the ones general patients have. Besides, the MoU promotes joint research projects through shot-term student and staff mobility programs.

 

To practically activate the MoU, MUFD representatively acts as a host of the MoU networking and an academic center of the special need patient care for Rajanukul Institute and WeCare Dental Clinic with an intensive consultation by experienced specialists in the special need patient care from Chung Shan Medical University with a collaboration of Ministry of Health and Welfare, Taiwan.
