Exchange students from Poznan University of Medical Science,
Poland and King’s College London
On August 2, 2019, Associate Professor Dr. Pisol Senawongse, Deputy Dean for Physical Environment and International Relations, presented certificates to two groups of exchange students. The first one is a group of dental students from Poznan University of Medical Science, Poland: Ms. Tanida Khiawngamdee (3rd year), Ms. Nuankanok Jiramongkolsuk (1st year) and Ms. Natchanan Auesirithanakul (1st year) who participated in a student exchange/clinical observation program in oral and maxillofacial surgery on July 8 – August 2, 2019. The second one is a group of 4th year dental students from King’s College London: Ms. Megna Shah, Ms. Preena Shah, Ms. Sheena Bhimjiyani, Ms. Hersimran Kaur Gakhal and Ms. Laura Ota who participated in a student exchange/clinical observation program in in oral and maxillofacial surgery, maxillofacial Prosthetics, oral Medicine and periodontology and pediatric dentistry on July 30 – August 2, 2019.
The exchange students were impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities that the Faculty of Dentistry and Mahidol Dental hospital have to offer, and the added knowledge and valuable learning experience they gained through observation and some of the hands-on activities in the different clinics will bring a positive impact in their dental education.
