The 8th Japan-Thailand-Korea Joint Symposium

 

Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean, together with Asst. Prof. Dr. Jira Kitisubkanchana, Head of Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salunya Tancharoen, Head of Department of Pharmacology attended the 8th Japan-Thailand-Korea Joint Symposium on Frontier Research in Dentistry at Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University from November 27-28, 2018.

 

In the event, Prof. Dr. Waranun Buajeeb was invited to be a chair person for the oral presentation during 10.50 – 12.05 hrs. As for the lecture session, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jira Kitisubkanchana and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Salunya Tancharoen was invited to deliver a lecture on the separate topics of “Odontogenic: Keratocyst: Radiographic Findings” and “Anthocyanins and their Role in the Prevention of Oral Mucositis in Animals Receiving Fluorouracil” respectively.

 

Furthermore, Lect. Dr. Montri Ratanachanchai from Department of Prosthodontics, Dr. Chaiyaphol Chaweewannakorn, lecturer from Department of Orthodontics, and Ms. Pallapha Linhsuwanon, a 3rd year postgraduate from Department of Orthodontics, represented the university to exhibit a research poster in the event.

 

The Japan-Thailand-Korea Joint Symposium is an annual scientific forum collaboratively held by the Faculty of Dentistry from six universities in Japan, South Korea and Thailand as follows: Graduate School of Dentistry, Osaka University, Japan, School of Dentistry, Kyungpook National University, School of Dentistry, National University and College of Dentistry, Yonsei University, South Korea, including Faculty of Dentistry, Chulalongkorn University and Faculty of Dentistry, Mahidol University from Thailand.
