Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry organized the 8^th Conference of Asia International Association of Dental Traumatology (AADT) during November 17-18, 2017 at the Debaratana auditorium, 4^th floor, the 50^th Anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Building, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, Bangkok, Phayathai Campus.

The conference attracted over 120 participants from Bangladesh, China, Japan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan and Thailand, and it was led by two keynote speakers; Professor Mitsutaka Kimura (President of AADT) who were invited to deliver a lecture with the title “Clinical Significance of Peripheral Nerves from the Situation of Stomatology: The Mechanism of Neural Transmission from Periphery to Brain by Biting / Chewing (from Childhood through Adulthood)” and Assistant Professor Jeeraphat Jantarat (Head of Endodontics Division, Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics, Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry), with the title “Pulp Regeneration in Dental Trauma”

Successfully, the conference created the place where experts from many fields of medicine and dentistry were able to meet and share their knowledge and experiences in dealing with the problems of dental traumatology (Dental Traumatology is one of the major oral health problems, causing loss and defects in function and esthetics to patients).
